STOP the vandalism.
[edit]A note to whoever keeps vandalzing this page and saying that the school has the HIGHEST test scores, IT DOESN'T. PLEASE STOP VANDALZING THE PAGE. the school has LOWEST test scores, it can be PROVEN.

- Reponse. It was I who reverted your changes. I presumed that you were vandalizing for two reasons: (1) you are making derogatory claims without citing an external reference, and (2) you are making edits anonymously without logging in. If you would, please consider creating an account and provide an externally verfiable source of information which states that this school has the "LOWEST test scores" if such can be proven. --GRider\talk 22:36, 25 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Poorly written
[edit]This article is very poorly written. For instance, I fail to see what "the girls are seen as sluts" has to do with the school, aside from the fact that it's not verifiable. --Myles Long 22:38, 25 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- Response. When comments such as those are left, it's difficult to assume good faith on behalf of the anonymous contributor at sympatico.ca. [1] --GRider\talk 22:46, 25 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- That's true. The mention of "Matt Lumley" doesn't seem to be verifiable, either, though that is a discussion for his article. Neither the Canadian Parliament site nor the Bank of Canada site return any hits when searching for "Lumley". --Myles Long 22:49, 25 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- Why would the bank of Canada site list their stockholders? Also, he's a member of parliament in fanshsawe in ward 4, which sin't lsited on the cnadian parliament site.
- If it cannot be independently verified, it does not belong in this article, period. --GRider\talk 22:56, 25 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- Good point about the Bank of Canada. However, since it's not listed there, please provide proof of it. Also, fine about the Parliament. Please provide proof of your claim. Also, please sign your comments. --Myles Long 22:57, 25 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Response
[edit]Regarding the "girls are sluts" thing, if you lived here you'd know the extensive amount of tesging and jokes made about the school, that's what teh school is known for, but I never WROTE IT WAS TRUE, quite the contrary, in fact. I could have written a paragraph about the school's reputation, but I ddin't I only gave it a mention. Also, the proof of the EQAO results are here: www.tvdsb.on.ca/links/publications/june2004.pdf and here: www.eqao.com/pdf_e/05/05P015e.pdf THOSE RE REPORTS FORM THE SCHOOL BOARD.
- So the test scores are verifiable. "Reputation" is far from verifiable, though, so it doesn't warrant mention, imo. --Myles Long 22:49, 25 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- But it does, i know it's not verifiable but it's true.
- Ergo it does not belong in an encyclopedia. Please consider creating an account on Wikipedia and logging in. --GRider\talk 22:57, 25 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- No, it doesn't. That's not how this works. Info. that can't be independently verified is not worth mention. That's called original research. --Myles Long 22:59, 25 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- But it does, i know it's not verifiable but it's true.
Response 2
[edit]Would users who know nothing about this school STOP changing this page. Clarke road can't have the lowest test scores in london because there are several high school's in london for kids who have disabilities or learning impairments and the students who attend those schools have to write the EQAL tests. Surely clarke road has higher test scores than them! Also there are a few 18 and 19 year olds taking an additional year but thats not because OAC was removed (OAC was removed in 1999) Their taking a extra year because they could not satisfy the requirements for a high school diploma in the time the average student does.
