Do we need this meta-category, or should the categories it contains migrate upwards, becoming a subcategory of "Slovenian people". In my opinion, the structure is too exhaustive, with numerous categories having perhaps a few entries (Slovenian chess players, Slovenian engineers, Olympic rowers of Slovenia etc.). While we don't have thousands of entries, I would propose "Slovenian people" having only a selected few categories:
Slovenian artists (writers, painters, architects, actors, musicians etc.)
Slovenian scientists (mathematicians, philologists, philosophers, inventors, engineers etc.)
Slovenian military persons
Slovenian politicians
Slovenian sportspeople (does the term "athlete" mean somebody doing athletics only, or sports in general? If the latter, I would opt for it.)
I believe we should only start thinking of breaking the categories into, say, writers, painters etc.
once the list goes beyond a screenful (e.g. over 100 entries). Does Wikipedia has some policy on this? --Peterlin 16:02, 25 Jan 2005 (UTC)
